Radana Lencová
During her studies at the Fine Arts Faculty, Radana Lencová was interested in creative approaches to work with letters, both creative (optical, illuminated, photographic) and purely typographical (she created her own alphabet styles: Bubble font, Golem, Poisson, Sonáta, Mimikry, etc.). Since 2000 she has been cooperating with the Svět publishing company as a graphic designer. For her work for that publisher, she has received awards, including the prize for the Most Beautiful Czech Book, Photography Publication of the Year and others. During her doctoral studies, she proposed a new school font called Comenia Script for elementary schools, which has become part of the typographical project Comenia - Czech school font (Brousil, Lencová, Štorm).
