A basalt hill, distinctively protruding out of a plateau near Prácheň on the eastern outskirts of Kamenický Šenov, is the most famous geological reservation in the country. The whole formation resembles organ pipes, and for this reason it is often called the "Organ".

The Sloup Castle in the Česká Lípa region is a 30 m tall sandstone rock formation that is, with its buildings on the top plateau, strikingly reminiscent of the famous Meteora rock monastery in Greece.

The chapel in Modlivý důl is carved into the sandstone rock and stands out for its skilfully crafted Neo-Gothic arch from 1836. At this time, the last crowned Czech king Ferdinand the Good used to come here to contemplate and pray. In the late 19th century the chapel was dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, and its interior was remodelled as a replica of the Lourdes cave.

The AJETO Glass factory and Glassmakers' tavern in Lindava is a special place not only for information about famous Czech craftsmanship and for active relaxation during glass blowing, but also a place to have fun.

In the spirit of the museum founders, even the contemporary collection programme follows the development of glassmaking in industrial production in the Nový Bor region and documents the work of local glass artists.

Zákupy Castle, surrounded by an English park and terraced baroque garden, offers its visitors a tour through more than twenty luxuriously decorated and lavishly furnished rooms which, in the past, served as representative and living rooms for the Austrian Emperor and last crowned Czech king Ferdinand the Good and his wife, Empress Marie Anna.
